Trump’s son in law the weakest link? The American Congress requires Jared Kushner to provide them with WikiLeaks documents

The investigation about the illegal co-operation of US President Donald Trump’s and the Russian state’s top secretary does not stop to follow Trump’s closest co-workers and family members.

After a few days in the focus of media attention was the oldest president’s son Donald Trump Jr., spotlights are on his son in law Jared Kushner. Kushner, Ivanka Trump husband, was one of the main people in Trump’s campaign, for which he won office in the White House. But Trump’s son in law is also one of the key names in the investigation of the potent conspiracy between the Trump team and the Kremlin to secure Trump’s victory in the elections and some concessions to the Russian side.

More US Congressional bodies investigate these charges, and one of them sent a letter to Kushner’s lawyer because Kushner did not submit all the required documents to investigate his role in the case. Chairman of the Judiciary Committee of the US Senate Chuck Grassley and Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein gave a new deadline Kushner to send all the documents that are missing until November 27.

Among the documents Kushner did not send was a Russian invitation to dinner that was not given any further explanation. Kushner is also required to deliver the emails he exchanged with Donald Trump Junior, about the conversation of Trump’s son with the whispering WikiLeaks website. It was an attempt to Wikileaks, a portal that American intelligence was associated with Russian hackers and the government to start cooperation with Trump’s circle. WikiLeaks after Trump victory sought favors from Donald Trump’s son who no longer responded to the message. Kushner was, of course, aware of their communication.

In a letter Committee states that the Committee knows that the documents exist because they get it from the witness, but not from Kushner. In a letter senators said that Kushner did not send e-mails in which participated Sergei Millian, byelorussian businessman who is believed to be the source of documents in which had been the target to denigrate Donald Trump. Senators are also interested in the Kushner correspondence with Michael Flynn, the former Trump’s national security adviser who was forced to resign after it was revealed that he had lied that he had not met with Russian officials such as the Russian ambassador to the US Sergey Kislyak.

Kushner himself met with Kislyak met twice in 2016, once during the campaign and once after the election, and before the inauguration.

The committee also seeks an original form that Kushner has fulfilled in order to obtain a safety clearance for work at the White House. In this form, Kouchner left several meetings he had with Russian officials. He later said that it was the failure of his assistants.

Explores the Kushnerov meeting with Sergey Gorkov, director of Russian banks under sanctions who has been appointed to that position by the Russian President Vladimir Putin. Kushner was at a meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, allegedly very close to the Kremlin, and Russian-American lobbyist Rinat Akhmetshin, who was previously a Russian intelligence official.

Nothing wrong

They are looking for and all documents which mention the hacking of emails, law Magnitsky associated with the freezing of assets of some Russian officials in the West and all people suspected of contact with the Russian party.

Many believe that the weakest links in Trump’s closest circle are the eldest son Donald Trump Jr. and son in law Jared Kashner. The Wall Street Journal even recently announced that Trump’s lawyers sought Kushner’s resign from the position of adviser in the White House because of all contentious meeting, but apparently Trump refused stating that his son in law did nothing wrong and there is no reason to depart. According to US media coverage, such as the Washington Post, Kushner may have been a central figure in trying to establish a secret communication channel between the Trump administration and the Russian government during the state transition late late and early this year in the United States. In addition to investigations in Congress, a special investigation of the case lead investigator Robert Mueller, the former head of the FBI.
